A lot of '70's Chevy station wagons had 402's in 'em. From what I hear, the pickins are pretty slim lately for 454's out of trucks and such.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Look for early to late 70's chevy p/u's and suburbans. The 454's were fairly common in them. When your dreams turn to dust, Vacuum!

I went to the junkyard loking for ANY BBC to use as a mockup. Could b in any condition, it could have a hole in it for all I cared I told them. They had 1 tired 454 they were asking 500 bix for. beyond that, nuttin'.

Don't overlook the motorhomes. Many of the Chevy chassis ones are a sure bet to have a 454 in them. Most of them are low mileage. Check out some of the RV centers for a wrecked one.Mike Casella
