I have a 468 BBC. It makes 565 hp at 5400 and 567 tq at 4400. Solid bottom end, 10.3 comp, gm alum heads oval port 2.19 intake valve. flat tappit hydrolic 540l, 230d. 110. twin 650 eld carbs, msd spark. I also had the rotating assy, combustion chambers, valves, exhaust ports, valve springs etc, and bearings ceramic coated. Thats the short list. cost out the door about 8 grand. Most of that is parts. 36* 24 in the distb 12 at the crank, 92 gas, NO problems, none, nada. A lot of detail went into this engine, no guess work, quality parts, checked and rechecked. And when we thought it was perfect we measured one more time. These #'s are dyno at the crank. Will have rw# in about 6 months, car is now in process of paint, Body is just now going back on. Lots of ways todo what you want. This is just mine. Good luck. robert
I wore a camouflage T-shirt once. The response in the pub was "Oooh, it's a floating head!" .
