i hope you are not taking 7s in the 1/4 mile my gto would not go that fast if you drop it from a plane and it is built realy good with a hi hp engine .the 66 A body cars need much work to get them to hook i had had two gto one tub and guted to 3000 this took a lot of work it had a 572 in it that made 850 hp and had 400 nos we hope it would go 7.80 .i could not keep up with the money to get to the track and sold it it an put this engine in my street gto.I made 2 1/4 headers 4 inch ex with x pipe and box the frame ford 9 inch 35 spline made new lift points on rear frame made all my rear end bars .and 400 trans with coan stall steel stator coan supper sprag and a vasco jet input.I had to make a lot of parts .when i was done this was a hand full .and need race fuel so i took it out and sold the engine and built a donovan for it I lost 120 going to the aluminun block and went bigger 630+ and made it to run on pump gas i am not trying to brag just try to tell you will need to do lots of things .money and time and more money. and for the 454 block with a sleeve in it you have to know if it is a thick sleeve . for get a stock bore it is better to bore it 0.30and deck plate and tru deck it is up to you how big you go to build it 489 0.30 or 496 0.60
