Cam timing dots
Iam installing my cam in my 438 and i cant remember if it is dot over dot or both dots at noon. Then after that i should be able to drop in the distributor and fire it up. Sorry for the questions this is my first big motor build. thanks

the thing i got from comp says that i just line them up dot to dot and thats it. if i left them at dot to dot would that be alright or should i line them up dot to dot and then rotate the motor so intake valve opens and then closes. This sucks really starting to get confussed. lol

Its ok thank you, so when i put it dot to dot and the crank is at top dead i should have to rotate the motor i think one full turn to get it where it should be.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
