    Question BBC Bellhousing Question

I'm building a 489 bbc for mi nova. Its internal balance so i got a tilton 3 plate clutch, as it bolts directly to the chevy crank. I need a bellhousing, with a special tilton hydraulic throwout bearing. I know they make them for the SBC, as many racing teams use them. I also have a tilton throwout bearing which is able to mount to the bbc bellhousing i have, using 4 drilled holes and supplied screws. Tilton makes a bellhousing which i can buy used for about $350. It has the throwout bearing mounted. My Question is weather or not i might be able to use this sbc bellhosuing on my bigblock, as the bolt pattern looks the same, like on the crank. Please get back to me if anyone has experience on this subject.

Big- and small-blocks use the same bellhousing.
