    intake runner volume

hi everyone, is there a formula to calcuate the appropriate intake runner volume for an engine? This formula should take into account engine displacement and maximum rpk right?

Mike, I'm sure Edelbrock, Holley, Offenhauser and other manufacturers have formulas, but they also have engineers and sophisticated software to help them determine the best design for a particular application.

Here's a pretty good paper on intakes....
