    I still can't my vette to start, someone told me to change the points is that true, if it is what points do I get 32oz, or 48oz,?

    bigger oz for hi rpm and watch that they stay in dwell the more spring oz work s on the point body wear. make shure to used the point grease

    thanks. I let my vette sit outside for a few weeks and the battery died . I tried to start it (with a jump) and the car just turns over but won't start what would you suggest? the chevy is new to me I've only delt with fords(mustang) so I'm kinda lost.

    you need to find why the battery died .like a draw some where you can check for spark this can be done. pull the coil wire off the dist and set it by something that is steel 1/4 air gap keep way from carb and fuel if no spark. when rolling the engine over look at the condenser .if you left key on the points may be burnt
