As you all know I installed some 3872702 closed chambered heads on my 454 block (casting number 3963512). I noticed that the 702 heads have less cooling holes/jackets than the later year heads. I can't remember if the block had the additional cooling holes or not but I do know the heads don't. I did install felpro head gaskets that match these early 702 heads. My question is will this combo work assuming that the block has the additional cooling holes and the heads/gaskets don't? Engine has not been installed in the truck yet. Thanks guys......det45
