any one will fit what port do you have ? do you have a one pice rear main seal block mark 5 -6 or is it a two pice rear main seal mark 4? if a mark 5 -6 them heads may leak in the lifter valleyIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

sorry i'm a small block guy.
i just came across this 90 454 and these 70 heads and thought can i make it work? iv'e done small block ls1-lt1 carb conversions and that went well so why not a big block..
the block is a mark 5 one piece r-main seal
the heads are out getting cleaned up by a buddy and i'll post the casting # when they get back.the ports and valves are huge compared to other big block heads iv'e seen . this guy told me they were race heads. i would like to know where they came from. is there some place i can get that info with the casting #..thanks again guys . this site is sweet

them heads are not good for that block. they are not made for it .you can put new heads on a old block but it will not work good the way you want to do it it will leak in the valley like i saidIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

Like Pat says ...........
If it's a Mark IV block the heads should work. Gen V they will likely leak coolant into the valley ..............

thanks alot guys i really appreciate the help ..i'll just sell the heads, the last thing i want is more car headaches..
the carbed lt1 was a conversion that i bought used from a guy. if you run a search on camaroz28.com you will find lots of info...however i tune fuel injection systems and if you set up the f.i. right it is much more street powerful than the carb..(can't beat f.i. low end power thanks to always ajusting air fuel ratio and timing) if your going for max power than its a toss up...thanks again guys
