how much power do you want to see ?? what head 990? use a roller cam hyd custom grind of any of the cam grinders if you run low cr you will make heat by over driving the blower with the cr and the cid of this engine i would go for around 8.5 cr. is the blower rotors lined ?

Well, I'm just new here I didn't really get what you meant by 8.5 cr and the blower rotor...
I would appreciate if you can tell me if the blower can go for the 496 cc with marine heads 119 cc

Howdy SamZ,
This is really a pretty serious set-up you are wanting to get into. If it were me I would obtain at least 2 books on building BBC engines with blowers. They are readily available out there; try Summit or your local car parts stores. After you pick your way through these you'll be able to get the most out of your questions from the guys here ..............

SamZ, do you realize how much power you're going to get out a naturally aspirated big block?? I dont know what you're building, but if you go with the 496, you'll have more torque than you know what to do with. Most guys have trouble hooking up a well built 496 WITHOUT a blower! My god, you'll never be able to get all that power to the ground! Good suggestion on the books, read up a lot on big blocks.... And this one, Big-Block Chevy Performance - by Dave Emanuel , has a section on blowers...just the book you need. JohnWhen your dreams turn to dust, Vacuum!

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
