Oh,I know lets take about 10 degree's of timing out of it and lower the idle speed down to about 850 if it will even run at that speed.
Here is another lets pull off about two plug wires that should do it.

See this is exactly why comp cams has come out with the new THUMPER series cams ,...now you too can have that burger stand pro stock sound with out all the hassel or exspence of real horse power or the hassel of actually knowing something, static compression ...bahh....dynamic compression ...bahh humbug....just go get a thumper cam !!!Its garanteed to bleed off all that extra power that was gained by a proper static and dynamic compression anyway and leave you with a motor that will awe the bugeretts and dog and suds crowd with that awsome sound of a intake closing point that would make J.J. Overcamer proud!!!
Why worry about real horsepower that destroys a transmission and rear end when you can install a poser ....hrrmff.. I mean thumper cam into your motor and forget about all that dangerous horse power that breaks things and makes the car actually fast ,when you can have a THUMPER cam from comp cams........look for us at a burger stand near you.....
http://www.compcams.com/thumpr/Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

thats the difference between acting cool and being cool..... and the people that act cool is what most automotive business' thrive on for customers... most those people are terrible actors too(shoulda gone to college instead)just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Had a look at the site the names for those three cams is a bit tongue in cheek though....... thumper,,,,mutha thumper,,,,,,big mutha thumper. seem to sound mean but as shawnlee said, do they go as good as they sound ?"aerodynamics are for people who cant build engines"

wow, you guys really got worked up over this one. I have had no problems with geardrives, but have had problems with "high quality" chains.

If you are breaking a chain that has a .250 pin along with the billet gears you are doing something wrong.
You do know that some of us do this for a living.
Some guys on this forum have been building engines for 40 years.

Bs Spray
Now where did I put my can of BS spray.
It has been a while since I have used it.
Did I ever tell you guys about the "72" Winter Nationals??
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
