4.250 stroke/454 block
i might get my hands on a 454 block with 781 heads, wanted to know if i'd have trouble stuffing a 4.250 stroke crank(496) in? I'm thinking a little grinding might need to be done to make it fit. thanks

well out of over 12+ of the i did trim one and have put 632 with out much with dart or world or donovan but the gm bowties you will grind on any thing over 4.250 and the rods that you use has alot to do with how much you grind
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
