    comp cams xe274

     



    has anybody had any experience with this cam in a BB. does it have a rough idle?

    It will have a rough in a 396.
    But in a 632 you won't feel it.

    What are the rest of the engine parts? What transmission? Lots of variables when selecting the correct cam...

    its going into 454 .030 over with 10.2:1 c/r, headers, 2200 stall 3.9? gears th400

    I would run a 2,500 to 2,800 stall.
    I think you would be better off with a 3.73 gear.

    would a 2500 stall be streetable because it is a daily driver

    Should work fine on the street. You might want to consider adding a tranny fluid cooler for a bit of added insurance. The higher the stall speed, the more heat it generates....
