no the intake will work .the port is to the in side of the open part of the head casting the cavity that you see is not the port ,what you need to worry about to cover is about 1 1/4 by 1 the casting cavity around the port is to keep oil off is port the gasket will cover the port part of the heads is has nothing to do with how it will runLast edited by pat mccarthy; 06-02-2007 at 04:39 PM.
