at 7 psi i think you could hear the crank jump up on the oil flim then you get on it and hear it hit bottom when you get off it looooooooose

some good points denny .i here you about the rods .that why on a big block with heavy pistons like them abit loose so the bearing have room not close up at the sides the bearing deal i have done many times . break a set of mains +1 or -1and rods to get the size i want or just put all housing bores where i want them and grind in the cranks size i want .but this is hard to do with a new 1500.crank .but have done it on the low dollar cranks cheaper then buy two sets of mains and rods . i like to keep 001 up and 001down but adds up fast$$ . just did a 351 w4 engine that the crank was ground .020 .020 when i got it and did not want to grind it any more save it for another grind size was good just abit big for my liking. i recond the rods put the rods size to get were i wanted for oil cleanrances did not want to grind on the crank any more have done this on the mains to but i always never go to the big size of the housing bore spec , dry sump you can turn it up or down psi for your liking nice ..CV has a by pass you can do this with a wetsump. the bettter the parts the less you need for running oil cleanrance? still like them abit loose but on a wetsump drag engine more you run the more oil pass off the bearing with a HV oil pump it works long as it has 65 it will live have many out there

    Any thoughts on this??
Yes kids this is why you don't get high off your own supply.
I think he may mean his boost.
