Good looking out Agent, you just reminded me why Im running my current pulley setup.I had to run power steering pump off crank by it's self for the reason you mentioned,I need to find a 2-groove crank pulley that will aline with a single groove on my power steering pump, current pump pulley is 2-groove stock 4.3 V6.

NOPE,you would have to pry it on with a spud bar,and you'd have no way to adjust it once the belt got worn in.LET'S back up A step, what are you running other than A Altenater/Power-steering Pump, you need A 2-groove crank pulley that will line up with A -1-groove power steering pump pulley, and run your altenater across water pump and crank correct?.If so no you may not be able to use the Bracket's you have if every thing dos'not line up.start at the power steering pump and work your way in to the crank, how many grooves on current power steering pulley 1or2 ?

i have a 3 grooves on the crank
2 grooves on the water pump
1 groove on the ALT and
1 groove on the P/S Pump
The ALT runs on the crank and the water pump on the next to the block
i want the P/S Pump on the water pump and the crank. right now it is just one the crank, on the first groove

    the middle groove is empty

BBmonte you need same set up that I do,2-groove crank pulley,1-groove power/str pump witch you have,1-groove waterpump for altenater only.you can't run power/str pump on water pump, you will burn up your bearings and seal's on your water pump.Altenater should line up ok with pulley on water pump, but you may have to make a new power/str pump bracket so it lines up with crank pulley or you can look at some product's by (MARCH Performance) that Bracket is $100.00 and some change.I should have asked this already but i didn't sorry what type of system you running? V-Belt or Serpentine.

i found a belt that fits nice and snug for the middle pulley i figure it it will help with the set up i have. so i am going to go with that untill i fined some thing diffrint i upgraded to.
i installed a CS-133 alt and had to make a back brace and had to make a brase to the P/S Pump

If you go with the long water pump,I don't see why you can't run that pulley, and maybe get a Altenater braket like mine and mount it in same spot.I have 3-groove crank pulley/2-groove on water pump also it should all line up then but you will have to make or buy a power steering bracket that works.your altenater and bracket lookes like it mounts the way it do's with the short pump for fan clearenc ETC.having said that im still not happy with my set it works and works well but i still have some empty grooves on crank and water pump thats what im trying to get away from.Im going to take the guess work out of my project and go with a MARCH-PERFORMANCE pulley kit. for $177.00 you get 1-groove crank/altenater/waterpump. you can get it for short or long pump,if you go the other way I cant garunty itll all line up.

I got luckey, didn't want to pay the big bucks my self.my buddy runs A 80's BUICK Regal with 454 he let me try a set of his old headers and it just so happins they fit.header wont go on with stock starter installed don't no about mini starter.driver side is a bitch motor mount unbolted engine jacked up put headder in,no matter what brand header it's probably going to hit the back side of the lower control arm when you put it in.Im telling you this now since you don't have engine in yet so you can grind on the mount to clear header tube.(DON'T BEAT ON HEADER TUBES WITH HAMMER) I cant say how much to grind off cant be more than ill say 1/4 in,some body beat the hell out of mine with (HAMMER)My buddy said it was not him yea right.any way asfar as i no my headers are HEADMAN-BRAND for BBL G-body 1-7/8 primaries and 3" collectors.coast me $50.00 Do you have any swap-meats you can go to thats where i find a lot of stuff and for the most part peaple are pretty onist but you still need to no what your looking for.
