eco(ish)-cam
Would a 270 deg. cam be pretty good to put in my 427? Im trying to get some responsiveness and lower end power, without killing what little mpg i get. my stock camshaft is worn so it NEEDS replacement!!

I've run Crane econo-power cams in my last two chevy small blocks. Both were selected by calling the company and giving them my specs and they helped steer me to the right cam and gave me tips on what else I could do to optimize them. I was very pleased. Hank

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
