The difference is the tie bar, I believe some may require a slight bit of clearancing to work. Wait for Pat to give the final answer I don't know him but he seems to know his s**t !!!

i used both. just two different way s for the lifter to hold track the lifters the horizontal bar will eject for ez cam change and have a flat top for a rev kit .some blocks with tall bores need the tall vertical bars there is other things but are more of a preference on the horizontal bars i like to check the block the end ones to the front and back of the block i check the block some times there more iron here and the horizontal plate in the lifters can hit it and cock it in the lifters so i check this and grind the block as needed they will make a clicking sound if the plate is not setting flat when you turn it over by handLast edited by pat mccarthy; 02-12-2009 at 10:31 PM.

you set up your roller springs were they the installed height need to be at. if not they need shim or + keepers or retaners or cut the spring cups to get more set up height or longer valves to get them were they need to be installed at . with the spring all together there no break in on a roller no need to take the inner out .your asking if you alum rockers will hold up to your cam ? really it has nothing to do with the lift of the cam but the springs your running you not over 250 lbs on the seat in 680 open the rocker should hold up if good rockers. i run more cam and more spring then your using with good rockers it not to much of a big deal as for oil pressure should be not much if any dif .do not let someone talk you in to running top end oil restrictors they cut down the needed oil to the top end that helps keep the valve springs happyIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
