It's 16 miles from here to the top of South Mountain. Based on this information, how long will it take me to skin a Jackrabbit?

WHAT PISTONS? IF if you do not use any you can put a big cam in thar but if you run them 2.250 or 2.300 valves them dog gone valves will crash in to the deckthis will fit roller 238/246 @050 621/621 lc112 you should have 10to1 cr that as big as i would go and if a older 396 you will have to dig a ditch in the back cam journal for oil

that cam should fit it i just put that cam in a mild 402 and had piston to valve room with the stock size valves. you will just use a ch 12 durabond cam brearing with no ditch in the cam

I have 396 motor, and I try to build 396 with most power possible. And I write this because, I would like to clarify many questions.
First, I give the different parts i have for build.

This is the parts i have.
isky cam .63 int- .63 ext
    duration 264 int - 264 ext
    rpm 3500 to 7500

heads is roller. and the spec heads, is closed oval port with 101cc chamber, valve 2.06 intake and 1.72 exhaust.

bore and stroke is 4.096 x 3.76¨ with dome piston ( .185 more or lest )

The intake manifold is the brodix with holley carburator 850 double pump

    MSD 6AL.

But the point is, I like to build the best motor i can with that.

Question; Can i change the piston for other with more dome???

    What size is better??

How many HP with this information the 396 can produce?????

How many time In 1/4 mille can produce, with power glide transmition and relation 4.68 with 2500 pounds????

    first, sorry for the English.
I hope, I can help with these questions, I hope me understand

were do you need the power at? you going just race it or drive it on the steet?here some things i would do rework the heads or buy better .a roller cam solid cam if you taking it up in rpm . you can have any piston made for a 396 .a 454 would help get you more cid if your looking at pistons anyway
