i am doing two bbc flat top blower engine with srp psitons at a 4.280 bore it 8.6 at 118 and 8.7 at 4.310 bore 060.over =496 i get very close to O deck i deck the block with the BHJ i then O the boring bar to the deck so every thing is on the money .so your block if i did it would be tru deck with BHJ and cut to 0 deck or in the hole to 005 .i would O deck the block .CC your heads and cut to 9.0 .getting to O deck will help .you will have to loose 3 cc if you use a 0.38 head gasket with a 4.370 bore that gets you very close to 9to1
