    Oil pump gasket

Seems like the last time I put my big block together there was a gasket between the oil pump and rear main cap. This time my gasket kit doesnt have one. Is there usually one? Thanks, Keith

If your main cap ,oil pump mounting surface is smooth... not a prob. if it looks like it has gouges in it ,better use a copper gasket .
