454 out of motorhome, to 33 coupe

pulled bbc out of an 82 moterhome with 50,ooo k on it, want to try to make it work in my baskit case 33 chevy coupe, plan to replace rear main seal, timing chain and valve guides.would it be worth putting a 3/4 cam, just for sound, without going through the whole thing, also planned to use a tunnel ram just for looks. my first street/rat build, not sure how or where to start, on placing motor. using origanal frame, of course on a shoe string.

That 454 should be more than enough for that coupe. Do the rear main seal, timing set, and front seal and put her back together. Stick it inside the frame rails and call it good. The RVs had a bit more than stock cam already. Not a lot difference between a 3/4 and a RV cam. Just run it first before pulling it apart.
