i hate one pc gaskets on mark IV bbc there no need for them . good felt set work fine . you will need to re work that gasket with a razor and some RTV in them spots onlyLast edited by pat mccarthy; 04-05-2012 at 06:05 PM.

Thanks Pat, just got off the phone with comp cams, they said I should be using a pan gasket from SCE ? I also called summit and they did not have a clue of what I was telling them. Dont know if Im doing it wrong, or if everone modifys the gaskets for these covers, its not just the one piece gasket,the 4 piece rubber and cork is not seating right around the timing cover also.
