New Member with Question
Hello all, I posted this question in the wrong forum, will try to catch on here! My question is on a 1970 Chevelle I purchased with an 454 LS4 engine. I have heard of the LS5, and LS6, not familar with the LS4. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeffro

You might want to check the block and head numbers. You "should" have an LS5 in there at least.

Engine Block first 3 are CGS, not sure on heads, they are oval port for sure. Thanks for the info. No way this engine is original.

People don't get hung up on which sub-forum things get posted in here as long as it's not totally bogus. Most folks seem to hit the "Today's Posts" or "What's New", which lumps all of the latest posts together without regard for where they were entered. Looks like Mark's helping you out with some BBC specifics.Roger
