    Rectangle port crossram

Anyone ever run a rectangle port intake on oval port heads. I had a crossram years ago that I ran on a set of oval port heads. I ran it on an engine stand but never in a car so I don't know how it would perform?

you would use the rect port intake gasket it works ok better then many would think...But .do not try to open up the oval port head s to match port size .you could use A&B putty to close the intake port roof down on the intake or weld them up i done both to intake s and ports runners on race heads

I bought a edelbrock c-96 crossram for 100 bucks. I have my 468 lower end assembled and am waiting on the heads. I have a comp cams big mutha thumper cam in it. I am not looking for all out performance just want my 70 chevy truck to sound and look cool. Well maaybe a burn out or two. I also am looking for lots of smiles per gallon. what about just bolting it on as is with no intake runner modification?
