Early block and late heads will it work ?
As the title says can you use an early block 361959 cast number with later heads 10140279 cast number ?

if that head casting is a mark 5or6 head then yes i do not use the new heads much .it works this way. better then the other way new block old heads you need to use the felpro f1037 or f1047 the f 1037 is for under a 4.540 bore you need a head gaskets that has the new water port print out same has heads as the head gakets. one.s i listed doLast edited by pat mccarthy; 04-26-2013 at 12:23 AM.

Thanks I'm going to take that as a yes if I use late head gaskets.
