454 rebuild ideas
I'm getting ready to rebuild a big block 454 for my friends GMC 3500 I was wondering what kind a heads are recommended for that I kind of want to stay away from the peanut port heads. But at the same time I don't know much about the peanut port heads. I'd like to know the pros and cons. What size valves work with each other and what size intake will work good. So let me know thanks guys!!

the thing that does the most good for those vehicles/engines was to turn the air cleaner top upside down to let in more cool air----------IIRC crz rpm was 3000-3500 and 6 miles per gallon-----------
Great to see your new post, Mike, and great to see CHR up and running again after several days of the Hmmm, can't reach this page.... Also good that you found an easy solution to your storage/access...
