What is largest displacement you can build for a 9.8 inch Chev Big Block?
Pat: Let me know what you can do as I am looking to do another 66 Biscayne! Thanks, Emil in N.J.

please P.M or go to my shop face page or WWW.McCarthyPerformance.com or called 989-667-4071...as i not on here very much any more but with a stock pass/truck 9.800 deck ..512 cid a aftermarket block 598 is about max and use a 4.600 bore and 4.500 crank . i would not really care to use a short deck 9.800 for this build. it works out on crank counter weigths and rods pistons in CH thing get shorter then i care for but a cid 582 is 4600X 4375 crank works good done more then a few over the years draw back is custom pistons in some cases . the 540/ 565 cid is very common and parts to build this as pistons are very easy to find very easy buildLast edited by pat mccarthy; 03-11-2015 at 05:58 AM.
