    Pistons for a 7.4

Picked up a 7.4 Gen 6. The pistons have the following markings inside: GM, 1255 5797, 8224. Question is are they std size pistons ??? (I assume they are....want to verify)

I did a google on the part number....nothing.

    Thanks,

    Rick

Measure the skirt diameter opposite the pin bore with a 4" to 5" micrometer or 6" caliper. Standard would be 4.250". +0.030" would be 4.280".
