I need BBC valve cover measurements.

Just doing some mental exercise at this point. I'm wanting to dress up the LS1 engine in my project and I really don't like the exposed coils. I have the very early perimeter bolt valve covers (only done 2 years) and there are no available valve cover replacement options that I have found. My heads are CNC ported and I don't want to swap them either. So, relocating the coils and swapping covers isn't really an option, unless I carve some "billet" covers out of a solid piece. Doable, but a tremendous amount of work.

Holley makes some plastic coil covers that are listed as BBC valve cover look alikes, but I don't particularly like the way they look. They closely resemble stock steel covers and I would like to use some type of fined cast aluminum cover.

Edelbrock makes some cast covers, but I don't really like the shape of them, either.

I'm wondering just how the fake Holley covers compare, size wise, to real BBC covers. If actual BBC valve covers are large enough, I could modify a set into coil covers. If anyone has a set hanging around, could you measure them and post the dimensions?
