    building a 400

     



    I need some advice on building a supercharged 400 small block to put in a 80's model short bed Chevy truck. I am trying to get about 500 to 600 hp. I am starting with a bare block and need all the help i can get.

    one word for doing that (JEGS) they will help you ... go with 6 inch luniti rod's dart heads (ported) luniti crank. luniti parts will stand by you... http://www.jegs.com hope this helps

    ...Yes, AFR drills the steam holes on their heads for the 400 blocks. Used to charge $40 dollars for drilling them.... Bill...
