Question 69 SS Camaro 350 Headers

I have a 69 camaro SS that has some prety old rusted headers on it and I want to put new ones on that I do not have to put a dimple in to get around the power steering box. Does anyone know of any good and *Budget Minded* headers that would fit without any mod's? I was looking at getting the Flowech Afturbuner headers if anyone knows about them please let me know. They say they will fit but we all know how that goes.

    Thanks All,

    Tom

    Afterburner

The Afterburner headers are good ,but I like Hooker Headers myself. The Competition line is pretty affordable , and they allways fit perfect, no dimples. Also usually any high temp paint will burn off anyway ,unless you spend the extra money for the high temp coatings, like cerama coat .Try the new Percy Aluminum gaskets they are really good!

Thanks I will take a look at those comp headers. I do like the look of the afturburner headers but somone had told me that flowtech used to be the same as black jack witch were really cheap headers until they were bought out buy flowtech and the just raised the price. Dont know for shure but I'm willing to check em out.

Don't know about the fit on your 69 but I've run lots of sbc headers over the years, I ran the Afterburner style from flowtech on a 71 elky, more seat of the pants feel than any of the others, hooker sc included, I'd dimple em (if needed) in a minute to get that gain, they fit the elky great.

How about the Afterburner headers and some purple hornies think that will sound good and add some punch?
