    his 355 stroker uses a 305 to do this parts for a 305 cost more because there not as popular with hot rodding.

    make yourself a 383 you will be happier. there is no replacement for cubic displacement

    I came up with 339 cubic inches, maybe I used the wrong calculation.
    Bore x Bore x stroke x .7854, is this correct or did I go wrong.

    No you were right, I listed the stock stroke, try this

    BORE= 3.795 (305 + .060)
    STROKE= 3.885"
    ROD LENGTH= 5.700"
    ROD RATIO= 1.48
    BLOCK HEIGHT= 9.001"
    = 352ci

It's on the ragged edge to clearance a motor for the 3.750" stroke in some cases. And I don't know why anybody would want to bolt a 4.000" crank in a 305 block anyway. Sorta' like a pig wearing pearls.

    3.736 x 4.000 = 350.79 cid
    3.766 x 4.000 = 356.45 cid
    3.796 x 4.000 = 362.15 cid
    yup i agree but some people know better than the engine builders they want to do the work.
