    350 crate

     



    New 350 from dealership new edelbrock carb and intake .Throttle stuck open for a short period of time while driving .unstuck it and now when engine cranks sounds like a nut or bolt is rattling around in lower part of motor.Have only run for a few seconds to let friends listen.Does anyone have a clue to what this could be?Please help?

    sounds like the nut or washer that made the Throttle stick open in the first place is now on top of the piston. something probably went through the carb.

    Sounds like a good idea would be to pull both heads and take a look. Pain in the fanny - but not as much pain as buying another motor.
