engine build up
looking to make around 450+hp
looking for remarks on the use of these blocks
i have
307 stock --i do have a steel 3.750 crank to make this a 365
350 bored to 355
327 stock
350 stock
maybe someone has these blocks and is running 450+hp on pump
if anyone would like to share info that would be 110% welcome

350 bored to 355 isnt worth mentioning, your only looking at a maybe 5-7 HP differance in hp75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered

A 377 (400 with a 350 crank) would probably be the easiest way to make 450hp. In order to make that much hp, you're going to have to have an engine capable of running a lot of rpms which would make me shy way away from the 365. That's way too much stroke for a little tiny piston. The 350 and 327 will have to run 6500-7000 to make that hp. You could probably get away with 6000 with the 377 and it's a whole lot easier and cheaper to build a 6000 rpm engine than a 7000 rpm engine.

nah just a toy to drive every now and then
he way these deep pocket (DADDY"S)highschool kids are now days if you don't have at least 375hp its all tail lights

I'd say use the 355 and get a 383 rotating assembly. a beefy cam and good heads will def. yield 450 hp and serious toque
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
