caled the numbers in 12 years ago on this engine because it had mass power and the tech offer 1200 if the block was not cracked any help decoding would be nice first casting number on top driverside block is 3782870 next back of block by the crank it is h4 under it it is 935 under it is 870 now on the front top passenger side is f0927s . i had this in a 1978 z28 at and it did cirles even with mass blow. by i removed it and now have a 1969 x11 code camaro with matching number 350 i want to take the 350 out and put this 327 in after rebuilding it and save the original engine

well if that is a 67 vette 327, then you have your hands on a rare 425HP 327.... good engine... worth more to sell it and build a nice 350 though... unless you really want to keep that engine

I thinks the 427 had the 425 horsepower, which was an engine offered in 1967. I'll check carnut.com to be shure but I'm almost positive. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Chevrolet never produced any 327 with more than 375 hp. That was in 64 & 65 Corvette. By 1966 the biggest 327 was 350 hp.
