    i wouldnt you can, but want have a passing gear. you would burn the trans up.

    go to a parts store later on and tell them what kind of trans you have and tell them you need a kick down cable.

    wuts the part called that goes on the trany, it puts the car into gear?

    shifter linkage, shift leaver on the left side puts it in gear.

    where shud i go to get it? i went to auto zone, called napa auto parts, kregian and numerous other places and i cudn't find it

    i must be good life. im beginning to think youer pulling my leg. this is the NAPA part # and cost. cant see it very good, but the part store has a good pic.

    you still have to have a bracket to hook it in at the carb. naps may have them or jigs.

    No, i can find the kick0down cable, i meant the shift linkage, that ones more important cause i wudn't be able to drive at all, Though i must u have been a great help, THANK YOU for all that you have done

    the shift linkage that was on the powerglide should work.

    may not line up 100% but you can drive it that way with no problem.

    but the power glide was a 2 speed and the 350 turbo is a 3 speed, will it still work?, and if so i can just rip off the old one and put it in the new one with no other attackments?

    use the linkage youve got, the detent is in the teans. if you want yor can get a different dial that shows all 3 gears, but its only for looks.

    you may have to adj. your linkage a little.
