    350 heads on 305

I am biluding a 305 for a buddy of mine and he dose not have much money. Its a simpel bild, just a frech up but it will have a bit of cam, good intack and carb. But the stock dont offer much potenchel. So the thought came to me that if a 350 head would offer larger specks and fit withought killing compericon maby that would be the way to go. Any info that anyone could offer would be gratley apperached.

350 heads on a 305 will give you extremely low compression and the chambers will overlap the bores. Giving bad combustion/deposit buildup and will need 350 gaskets. A bad deal all the way around. A Turd that smokes and pre ignites when warm.

depends on the year of the 305's....the earlier 305's (1976+) had 76cc heads on them....and did till the 80's..

But they are right if your 305 had 58cc heads and you install 76cc heads it will be a turd....
