    mystery oil

Im stumped. A small pool of dark, thin oil seems to accumilate at the fourth intake manifold bolt from the front on each side. no trace for where its coming from. Could it be coming from the bolt it self? it has no tracs around it, any help would be great

Are you sure it's oil and not antifreeze?

    A couple of thoughts . . .

If it's oil, maybe a leaky intake manifold gasket, letting engine oile migrate up the shaft of the bolt. The fix is a new intake gasket.

If it's antifreeze, pulling the bolts and putting sealant on the threads might stop it.

That's a favorite location for fuel leaking from the carb. to collect. Looks like oil because of the grime it washes down with it. See if it doesn't light off like gas when exposed to flame (safely!). That'll be your clue.
