    valve length????

     



    hello this is mike again i am a lil confused as to weither i need a standard length pushrod or a longer one. the spring installed hieght is 1.850" im looking at manley race flo series, i figure if i'm gonna buy something i might as buy something thats going to be of use in the futre when i start pourin the power to it

    If your heads are set up with 1.850 spring height. I am going to assume you are running at least .100 long valves. That will require different pushrods.

    hello thanks for that info im sorry i meant to ask what length valve i should use and the pucshrod sorry about that.

    Bobs right....

    You change valve height according to valve lift and also requires a pushrod change....You DO NOT want to change valve height till you change cams messing with one or the other will throw off your valve train geometry.... these all need to be done at the same time.... read this here....http://krpracing.com/technotes/ click on valve lash...TN5
