Cylinder Heads Left or Right?
Does it matter which side the cylinder heads are mounted on? In doing my first rebuild, I carefully labeled everything else but do not have a reference on the heads.
Thanks a bunch for any input. These forums have been an absolute wealth of information.

Like denny said,,,,if they are stock,,,most of the time the castings will be made for left or right,,,hookups like exhaust manifolds,,intake manifold,,,bolt holes for alternator, air cond, etc.
If they are stock,,you should be able to tell the difference without to much trouble.
Need more info on your application."I don't know everything and i like it that way"

Here is the more info.....
The heads are stock off the 1975 350 off a Chevy c10? truck. They are casting #3998993.
This motor wil be going into a street stock type circle track race car. I'm doing the rebuild on a budget and so far so good.
Thanks for your help
