    HEI Distributor

     



    Thought I'd post a couple of photos that show how a Chevy HEI drops into place. With cap. Note that the connection for the distributor is pointing straight to starboard, and the vacuum can is pointing to about 7 o'clock.

    Without cap. Note that the rotor is pointing to the first terminal clockwise of the wiring connector. That may not be how they all are, but that's where I set mine up.

    Nice pictures, with my Crossfire dist. cap my rotor points to
    about the 5:30 position when at TDC on cyl 1
    TEAMWORK is essential, it allows you to blame someone else!
