    electric water pump

I thought about putting an electric water pump on my 350. How do run the heater hose ? On a mechanical water pump there's a heater hose outlet on the pump, but from all the pictures I've looked at I don't see any on the electric ?

There are a few things i would convert to electric,,like,,,fuel pump,,or even an engine cooling fan,,but i don't think you could beat the flow rate of a mechanical water pump,,,unless the electric pump had some way of adjusting flow rate with engine RPM,,,i guess it could be done,,but why would you want to??

Most electric water pumps don't have the flow rate to cool a street engine.

Check out the mezier electric water pump. As I remember it puts out around 5 times a stock water pump at idle, made of anodized aluminum with stainless steel shafts. But it is expensive. Do a search for it

unless this is a race car... dont put an electric water pump on your car... electricity and water never go along together.... and thats a pretty crucial part of your system for an electrical gremlin to hit... if you fuse it, then you're risking a fuse putting it out, or a bad voltage regulator or a million other things.... I've always considered mechanical on the most crucial systems, electrical on the less
