    Thumbs up rebuilding a 383

i am 18 years old i know a little bit about engines but not an incredable amount. I have a 89 camaro with a 305, 5 speed I am a restoration job on it. going from a 305 to 383, replacing the 5speed and over time maybe with a power glide. I have some questions on a couple of parts.

    1. would it be better to pull a crank out of a junker and have it dipped verses remanufactured?
    2. I need better heads vortec heads were recommended over camel-humps which is better?
    3. i know a stock rear end will break under the amount of pressure and torque this engiine will put out but what would be better to go with a 373 gear or a 411 gear?
