New Engine for an 84 Corvette
hello all,
I just came across this site and it looks great. I have a 1984 Corvette with 140k on the odometer. I am planning on stroking this 5.7L motor with a cast internally balanced rotating assembly with hyperutectic pistons. It will be street driven so i will not be reving past 6000 to 6500 RPM. I am thinking about a hyro cam with a 110LSA with 224 degrees of duration @.050. I will be running TFS or edelbrock heads as well with 64 cc chambers to be able to run pump gas. I will probably get rid of the Crossfire for a Wieand stealth intake tuned for the same powerband as the cam. Can you guys recommend a carb for this motor? I hear good things about Demon carbs for performance, drivability, and gas milage. Something with vac secondaries. I also have an electronic 700R4 trans with TCC lockup. I need help making a carb setup work with this as far as the TV cable and TCC. I can leave the ECU in place, maybe that will still control lock-up. I will be putting 3.73 gears in the diff too with a higher stall convertor. Any advise? Thanks and hello to everyone!

Any help here?
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
