hey everyone, im new to this forum but i have some questions about a chevrolet 307 v8. I have been lookin at this lady's '71 nova, but its not an ss so it has the 307.Now my question is regarding stroking it. i know that you can stroke a 305 to a 355 but i wanted to know if you could do one on a 307 and get a pretty good amount of torque. I really want a 350 stroked to a 383 for number like 400+ torque and hp but i was wondering if anyone out there had done anything not to expensive to make that 307 run liek hell or if its not worth it to at all. If i were to buy that nova i really want to keep it numbers matching but i want it to be a torque and hp monster. So would that make it a 357 if you stroked it? If anyone out there has any answers out there plaese let me know
