    355 Chevy Help !!!!!!!

     



    355 sb chevy
    Crane cam BLAZER 294-2H
    flat top pistons
    9.5-1 compression
    edelbrock aluminum performer intake
    q-jet carb (only for awile.....)
    1 5/8" headers, 3" collector
    2 1/2 exhaust and dual mufflers

    engine is in a 1986 chev 4x4 full size truck
    4 spd manual tranny
    4" suspension lift
    35" tires
    3.08 gears (only for awhile....)

    so i need a set of heads, mine are just stock 1986 chev heads.....

    please tell me if this cam will work right with this combo...thanks

    Too much cam for 9.5 c.r. Intake closes too late. Use something like this....

    I agree with Tech 100% on his better choice for your project....

    The limiting factor is going to be you heads, even with more duration your heads are going to be restrictive above 4,500rpm...

    To use the cam you want you'll be seriously be chocking the engine...you'll be hurting Hp. potential by 75-100hp or more....
