    I need to know whats the best carb a holly are edelbrock?I'm wondering if a 350 trans will work with a 406 are do I need a 400 trans

    For the carb, it depends on what you want to do do with the car, Edel's have better street manors but are no good for racing but holley's are but do not have the street manor's that the edel's have. I'd say holley's are better overall, they will survive with street use and will work good for racing. I think you would want a 650 CFM carb ither way. You should use a T-400 trans.
