valve tubes
I don't know where I'd post this at cause it was on an experimental engine honda or someone foreign was doing, but instead of having valves the heads had a tube that ran the length of it and it consisted of holes cut in it at various degrees. It basically acted as a camshaft and valve set all in one. As the crank turned, it turned the 'valve rod' or whatever it would be called. Has anyone else heard of this?

know any specs on it? It seems these roller valves would be more reliable, but they'd have sealing issues under compression
Thank you Roger. .
