350 top end combo ?
Recently started a much needed refreshing of my 1978 4bolt main 350 .060 over. The motor is in my 1980 el camino, 4 speed. The bottom end was redone 2 years ago, so im not touching it, but unfortunatly we didn't touch the top end. it already had a decent cam in it with a mild idle. Ok after reading through 25 or so posts i still couldn't answer my question *probably due to my own lack of knowledge*... im buyin a set of #450 cast heads, 64 cc chambers, 2.02/1.6 valves, .510 max lift springs and screw in studs, stainless valves assembled from a local machine shop.... im planning on going with one of the Lunati Voodoo series cams pt# 60102 ( .468/.489 lift, 112 degree seperation, 262/268 duration, 219/227 at .050 lift) pistons are flat top w/ dual valve reliefs, zero deck.... im really just wondering will it perform decent and still be drivable? also is it possible to go one step up on the cam up to the 60103 model?

Your c.r. will be 10.71:1 and will need more cam. Call the tech guys at Lunati and get their recommendation, then report back here please.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
